Ever wondered what to do with to many pillows and left over material? If you have a fur baby who loves to chew on things I may have the perfect solution for you :)
Last year, before getting a puppy [sadly I lost her due to a horrible and deadly disease called parvo :'( ] I had made her a ton of chewy toys using scraps of material and old pillow foam.

This was probably one of the easiest sewing items I've ever made and needless to say it's super easy to sew.
Requirements:
A4 page (or bigger/smaller)
Pen
Paper Scissor
Material big enough to cover your design
Matching thread
Enough foam for stuffing
Material scissor
Pins
Sewing machine / you can hand stitch too
Steps:
Using as A4 page (you can go bigger of course) draw out your dog bone or any other shape you desire
Cut out the image from the paper - this is your pattern
Lay material double on a flat surface then pin pattern to the material
Cut out pattern (you should have two pieces)
Pin material pieces right sides together and sew along the sides - leave about 4 cm open
Now turn your toy inside out so that the right sides are on the outside then proceed to stuff it with the foam so that it's nice an firm before sewing the remaining 4 cm's closed
and voila! :)
Here are a couple of images of my heavenly pup whom I miss dearly each and everyday!
